Final semester!
Long time since my last post! Sorry about that.
Well, finals came and went, and I survived. All A's this semester.
Winter break has come and gone as well, now. I did a lot of relaxing, and also a lot of programming. I worked on the future Billy 4.1 quite a bit, and also on an AI checkers program. Checkers was my original idea for a project for my AI class, but I decided against it because I couldn't get my head about the problem at the time. So, I decided to face that fear head on and conquer it, and I seem to have done so, the program plays checkers pretty well right now (although I still generally beat it) and I hope to release it at some point. I also went and visited some of the schools I applied to for grad school -- UMass Amherst and MIT. Both I loved. I was particularly impressed with MIT. I was expecting the campus to be non-scenic and drab, since it is in the middle of a big city. But I was surprised to find that the campus is quite nice looking, in fact. Actually one of the nicest campuses I've ever seen.
Now I'm back at UNH for my final semester of undergraduate study... I've moved into my new apartment and am loving it so far. Really nice roommates who I seem to be getting along with well so far. I think this is going to be a great semester. Classes start Tuesday.
Well, that's it. Post something in my message board.:)
