- After acquiring my first Apple TV, Beauregard, he became my Media Streamer for my primary TV, and my previous Home Theater PC, Scooter, shifted to the smaller TV in my finished basement. Over the course of my first year with Beauregard, I came to really appreciate the performance, reliability, and ease-of-use that Apple TV offers. Whenever I had to use Scooter, the contrast was infuriating -- having to deal with Windows updates, manipulate windows and a cursor, and just the generally poor performance when working with HD video streams.
- Especially when considering the low price of the Apple TV, I eventually decided to replace Scooter with an Apple TV in the basement, as well. I received Aloysius for Christmas in 2014, and he promptly replaced Scooter. With no further use cases for Scooter, that PC was retired at this time.

- Aolysius was retired on December 22, 2021, when he was replace by Pandora.
