- I'm a big fan of the Apple TV -- it provides a very polished streaming experience, with a fast & fluid user interface, wide selection
of stremaing apps, and is overall very responsive and reliable. I've tried other streamers like Fire TV and Roku, and nothing
compares to Apple TV. In my family room, I originally had a 3rd generation Apple TV named Beauregard, then upgraded to an Apple TV HD
named Persephone. When it was time for me to upgrade my TV to a newer 4K model, I decided to migrate Persephone to my bedroom TV, and
replace her with a new Apple TV 4K, named Electra. There isn't a big difference between the two models other than this one supports
4K output as a result of it having a more powerful CPU/GPU. Otherwise, the exact same great, polished user experience.
- This was originally obtained September 10th, 2020, as my primary family room media streamer.
