  • Prometheus is a custom-built gaming PC for my oldest son. It's also my first computer build since Iris in 2017, and my first Windows PC since Clementine was retired, also in 2017. I let my son take the lead on designing this computer, and here the goal was emphasizing gaming performance while secondarily trying to be at least a little budget conscious. This was the first computer build I've ever done that was completely from scratch -- no carryover parts at all, not even monitor / keyboard / mouse.
